Writer & Musician
Austrian-Polish prose writer and musician exploring the spaces between words and melodies, tradition and innovation, Central European sensibilities and contemporary expression.
A collection of short stories exploring memory, displacement, and the quiet dramas of everyday life in the borderlands between Austria and Poland.
"The snow fell differently there, as if it remembered something we had all forgotten."
Piano compositions blending classical structures with contemporary minimalism. Music for late nights and early mornings.
Born in Krakow, raised between Vienna and Warsaw, Radek Gruz writes prose that navigates the cultural currents of Central Europe. His work has appeared in literary journals across Poland, Austria, and Germany.
As a musician, he draws from the classical piano tradition while incorporating contemporary electronic and ambient textures. His compositions have been featured in independent films and radio programs.
He currently divides his time between Vienna and the Polish countryside, where he writes, composes, and occasionally teaches creative writing workshops.
